Letter to Rosemary on Our First Mothers Day Together
Dear Rosemary,
This was our very first Mothers Day together and it was the best Mothers Day in my 29 years of life. I can’t even begin to tell you how much more special this day is to me now that you are in my life.
I’ve always loved my mother, your grandmother, but never understood just how much until I had you. I had never truly understood just how much she did for me and just how much she cared for me, until you.
I look forward to the day the same realization comes to you. It will. It’s so amazing, this feeling and comprehension of love, and I can’t wait to share this with you one day.
You bring me so much joy and happiness, thank you. Thank you for making this the best Mothers Day. And thank you for allowing me to be a Mother, your Mother.
Without you I’d still never know just how special this day really is.
Love Mom

I know this post is a personal one to you but wanted to say it's so sweet, brought tears to me eyes. She truly has a loving mommy. Congrats on your first Mother's Day. <3
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet letter! You two look like twins! So cute.
ReplyDeleteThanks ladies! I really enjoy writing little notes to Rosemary and I can't wait for her to read them one day.
ReplyDeleteI wish I was a better writer so I could even begin to express what she means to me and how much love she has brought to my life!
These notes from an untalented pen (or keyboard) will just have to do!
Aww!! I'm in tears! What a sweet note to your daughter. I remember my first Mother's Day and how magical it was.
ReplyDeletewhat a sweet letter, and what a great idea to sit down and write your daughter a letter! I am sure she will treasure it.
