Hey everyone.
I meant to mention this before, but if you pray at all, I'd really appreciate prayers for my friend Laura and her family. She's being induced right as I write and could use all the love and support we can give to her.
Her little guy, Eli, has Trisomy 13, so we're not sure how this is going to work out. I think they're just praying for a few hours with him. Here's her blog if you're interested in the whole story. Both her, her husband, and her 10 month old daughter are such beautiful, strong people. I can't imagine what they must be feeling or going through. I actaully sent her a card earlier this week and I think it's the hardest card I've ever picked out. I've never cried that much picking out a card at the store, that's for certain.
Please pray or just think positive thoughts if that's all you do. Thank you!

Praying and keep us posted
ReplyDeleteMy prayers are with her and her family - she is such a strong woman. God bless her.
ReplyDeleteI will be praying. We have experienced Trisomy 13 through a friend's daughter.
ReplyDeleteI will continue to pray for her throughout the night. I had never heard of Trisomy 13.
ReplyDeleteThanks everyone! I've been out all afternoon, but she's now at 3cm, 90% effaced and still on pitocin. Praying things start to move along a little faster and they keep up their strength!
